First Watch

The visit today wasn't as good as other visits. I realize it's a bad idea to come during busy hours of the weekend. It was five of us and we had to wait to get our food separately. We waitrd about 10 min in order for all of us eat together. The steak burrito is not recommended. There was so many different flavors that did not work out for me a real case that's more should be less. The smoke salmon eggs benedict was not consistent with past order of the same dish it was cold.

For Augusta, I’d give it 5 stars. I’ve eaten here a few times. The dishes and the experiences are always enjoyable. I like the atmosphere and the service is great. The wait staff are friendly but I find that the hostesses are not as nice. I didn’t think it was appropriate either for the hostess to eat while at the front where customers walk in. The portions are pretty large and I love the plating. The prices are higher but fair for what you’re getting. I do not like the coffee. That’s unfortunate. It’s never good which makes me think it’s just the brand they use. I’m just not a fan of it personally. It’s very bitter and even with cream and sugar, it’s just not it to me personally. I didn’t care for the paper coffee cup either but they gave other customers mugs. I was told there were no clean ones. I’d definitely prefer a mug especially if I’m already waiting on every part of the experience anyway. I tip really well so I’m not sure if maybe bc I was by myself the server thought I shouldn’t stay long, but I definitely would’ve liked a mug. Felt some kind of way about that for sure. The other times I have been, I got the mugs 😂 thankfully If you haven’t been, you should definitely give it a try!

Recently went to First Watch for breakfast with a friend. We were served by Maya who had an excellent customer service attitude and was wonderful in recommending what to eat for a newcomer, and made fantastic conversation during the length of our stay. The food was absolutely fantastic, I got the 2 for 10 deal with the roast beef and havarti sandwich, as well as the chicken avocado chop salad which was fantastic for the amount of food one receives as my bill for my incredibly filling meal was only $15. We also got the million dollar bacon, which is the best I’ve ever had. The salad was incredible, and even contained food that I don’t typically enjoy, however with the skilled chef’s abilities everything worked in harmony, providing me with a fantastic experience. The food service and wait time itself was excellent, with us only waiting 15 minutes in between ordering and receiving our food in a packed, busy environment. It was also delivered with a smile, which only added to the experience. Try First Watch for breakfast and brunch, you will not regret it.

I was looking forward to eating here because I heard great things. The 30 minute wait was understandable and tolerable. (No place to sit though. Standing only.) The server was very good, even though she was VERY busy. My only issue is that the food was cold. Not even room temperature… very cold, almost like it had been refrigerated… yikes. Unfortunately, in my personal opinion, not worth the price nor the wait. *Just read several of the reviews and many said that their food was cold too.

What a joke! We wanted to check this place out since it is always crowded and so we put our name on the waitlist for two people at 10:48am on a Monday. We were told it’d be a 45-1 hr wait. Okay! Ran some errands and were seated at 11:46am and placed our order immediately since I had a meeting at 12:30. We were pretty much ignored after receiving our drinks and I finally asked for our food to-go and check at 12:20pm after trying to flag down our waitress. We finally received our food at 12:48pm, literally one hour after placing our order. I missed my meeting. Plenty of other people were looking around and tapping their feet, waiting for their food. I told the couple next to us how long it took and not to waste any more of their day. Now I know why this place has a long wait and won’t be returning.
